Everglades National Park asked for a rentable unit that would operate seasonally at their Flamingo Campgrounds to replace several stilt cottages destroyed by Hurricanes Wilma and Katrina in 2005.

Located in the heart of Key West just blocks away from the raucousness of Duval St., the site was, nevertheless, quiet with a pedestrian nature. This project provides a community gathering place that fits into this context.
